Copier Leasing
Copier leasing is something that you should examine with close scrutiny. If you think that copier leasing is something that you or your organization needs, you should ask yourself some questions. Some questions that you should ask yourself are:
• Are the maintenance supplies included? If so, how much are they?
• What are the costs of the supplies separate from the cost of the box?
• What are the costs of additional equipment and accessories with capabilities such as finishing/faxing/scanning?
• Do you have any employees that are knowledgeable with working with or on the copiers? If not, what are the costs associated with hiring a technician either full-time, part-time, or per-project?
• What kind of scanning capabilities and options does the copier have?
• What are the costs associated with having to replace the old copier with the newer one? Does the trade-off value make financial sense? What is the price difference between the old one and the new one?
• Does the copier have network capabilities? If so, how many computers/nodes does it support at any given time?
• How many employees will be using the copier?
• How often will the copier be used?
• Do prints provide an avenue on ROI (Return On Investment)?
